Days To Go

The EFCT Externship

EFT continues to have the best outcomes and research support of any couples therapy. Over the course of three days you will gain understanding of the basic tenets, processes, and interventions of EFT. You will be given a map to lead partners out of negative cycles into vulnerability and deeper connection. Many have shared that the EFCT Externship brought new vision and vitality to their work as a therapist and also inspired change in their own relationships. We tap into the power of emotion and attachment to promote growth and connection.

Learning Approach

Sue Johnson developed the externship training as a foundational resource that includes:

  • Presentations that provide a basic understanding of theory and practice of EFT.
  • Experiential exercises that bring the material alive and ground you in it.
  • Recorded clinical example that strengthen an awareness of the EFT process.
  • When possible a live session with a couple session to demonstrate the approach in real time.
